Competitive VEX EDR Program
The VEX Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the ultimate STEM activity for middle school and high school students (ages 11-18). A challenge to innovation is presented in the form of a game each year. Students use the VEX Robotics Design System with feedback from their instructors and coaches to create creative robotics built to earn as much points as possible in qualification matches, elimination matches and skills challenges. In addition to having a great time and creating incredible robots, students will also gain numerous learning and life skills from their involvement in the VEX Robotics Competition and their role inside their team.
Competition takes STEM to life
Student teams design, build, and code robots to play a brand new game each year
The introduction of simple STEM principles to a competitive environment improves student participation and helps lessons seem more “remarkable”
